| Arlen in Nashville helping to finish "shelved" Danny Gatton project |

| Arlen was in Nashville during the week of January 15th adding guitar parts to an unfinished album conceived by Danny Gatton and "Sweet Mikey C" back in 1990. It was to be a musical celebration of songs from the 50s and 60s by artists like Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and other R&R greats. Although quite a few tracks had been recorded, the project had to be shelved in 1994 due to Danny's untimely passing. Now, this album will finally see the light of day this year. Contributing, are John Previti, Shannon Ford, Johnny Hiland, Freddy Weller and others. There will even be a very special appearance by guitar legend Scotty Moore doing a version of "That's Alright Mama." Watch for more info and a release date. |

| Arlen is filming 2 all new Hot Licks DVDs for Music Sales Corp. on the ART OF SOLOING. This will be the first time this subject will be addressed using a unique approach Arlen calls, "teaching the unteachable." The DVDs reach into the conceptual and inner artistic core of soloing in a way not seen on previous Hot Licks efforts. The soloing will be demonstrated using his band, with lots of special historic concert and TV clips. Each DVD will run 90 minutes. They should be available sometime this fall. |

Lexie's getting ready for the release of her new cd...watch for an appearance by us both on Conan O'Brien (date to be announced!) Preparing to record 2 new cds, one all-acoustic, and another "surprise" cd.
The upcoming re-release of "Toolin' Around" will have bonus tracks as well as a companion DVD on "The Making Of "Toolin'", including footage of all the sessions.
